Croydon Shire Council is seeking an experienced Childcare Coordinator to guide and strengthen the Croydon Child Care Centre — a fully accredited service supporting up to 21 children from Birth to Year 6.
This role is about more than operations. It is about making a meaningful impact in a small community where your leadership, guidance and standards directly influence children’s development, family confidence and long-term outcomes.
The Centre operates Monday to Friday, and is a vital support for local families.
The Role
You will:
- Oversee day-to-day centre operationsLead and support a small team
- Ensure high-quality care and educational programming
- Embed the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Standards into practice
- Build strong relationships with families and the wider community
- Maintain compliance with relevant childcare legislation
What You Bring
- Diploma in Children’s Services
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- Valid Blue Card (Working with Children)
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Strong understanding of childcare legislation and NQF standards
- Confident communication skills
- Commitment to community engagement and team collaboration
