Precinct Plan
Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas and feedback.
Community input continues to play an important role in shaping the future of Croydon. Croydon Shire Council is committed to ensuring community voices help guide how the town grows and develops. Council is pleased to advise that the community engagement phases for the Croydon Precinct Growth Plan have now concluded.
Engagement Overview
Over recent months, CultureV8’s independent engagement team met with residents, Traditional Owners, local businesses, service providers and key stakeholders to gather ideas and feedback.
This engagement informed the identification of 24 priority infrastructure projects, covering parks and recreation, heritage, roads and infrastructure, utilities, and economic development opportunities.
Second Round of Engagement
The second round of community engagement has now closed. During this phase, CultureV8:
-
Reported back on key themes and feedback received
-
Presented the shortlisted 24 priority projects
-
Collected further input to help refine project scopes and priorities
Engagement activities included drop-in sessions, focus groups and opportunities for written submissions.
Written and One-on-One Feedback
Community members were able to review project materials at Doris Casey Memorial Hall and provide written feedback in person, via postcard or email. One-on-one discussions were also available for those preferring a private conversation.
All engagement activities were independently facilitated by CultureV8.
