Saturday 03 August – Opening of Heritage Week 

 

6.00pm Croydon Town Hall – FREE

School showcase of talent

Movie to be shown on our original 35mm projector in the Town Hall. Movie will be Grease

 

Monday 05 August –

9.00am – Keep your eyes peeled as clues for the Great Croydon Gold Hunt will be released each day this week. The clues on the Council web site will help you to locate the souvenir coins. There are three to be found!

9.00am – Geocaching commences: This event is based in the Croydon Shire. The aim is to track down two (2) geocaching containers for your chance to win a free stubby cooler. There are only ten (10) to be won!

Tuesday 06 August – Guided town tour with billy tea and damper

10am- 11am - Treasure hunt in the Anzac park for the daycare children.

10.00am - Guided tour hosted by Xtra Steps, 15 people per tour, followed by billy tea and damper. Please book at the True Blue Visitor Information Centre prior. Tour departs from the True Blue Visitor Information Centre.

 

Wednesday 07 August – Gulflander Train Day and Sunset Tour

TBC – ‘Know your history walk’ with the Croydon State School students at the True Blue Visitor Information Centre

 

5.00pm – Golden Sunset Tour, for costs and bookings, please phone 07 4745 1391 or enquire and book through the True Blue Visitor Information Centre

 

Thursday 08 August – Guided Town Tour with billy tea and damper and Country Style Meal

6.30pm Country Style Meal, three course meal for $10.00 with proceeds being donated to the Blue Light Disco Association. Please book prior to the event.

9am- 10.30am – ‘Last Chance Gold Expedition’ with the Croydon State School students

4.00pm - The Great Croydon Gold Hunt ends today.

4.00pm – Geocaching ends today.

Saturday 10 August – 50’s Flashback Dance

6.00pm at the Town Hall

Themed event – dress to impress with your best 50’s/60’s impersonation
