PUBLIC NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE CROYDON SHIRE PLANNING SCHEME

MADE UNDER THE PLANNING ACT 2016, SECTION 18

 

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Planning Act 2016 that on 17 January 2019 Croydon Shire Council decided to adopt the Croydon Shire Planning Scheme 2019 and the following planning scheme policy:

Aboriginal Cultural Significance Planning Scheme Policy.

The purpose and general effect of the planning scheme policy is to support the Croydon Shire Planning Scheme 2019, which applies to the local government area of Croydon Shire. The Croydon Shire Planning Scheme 2019 and the planning scheme policy will replace the Shire of Croydon Planning Scheme Provisions 2006 and associated planning scheme policies.

The Croydon Shire Planning Scheme and the planning scheme policy will commence on 1 February 2019.

A copy of the planning scheme may be inspected at and purchased from council’s administration office at 63 Samwell St, Croydon. The Croydon Shire Planning Scheme can also be viewed and downloaded by clicking here.
