Croydon Shire Council is seeking a motivated and community-focused Casual Swimming Pool Attendant to manage the day-to-day operation of the Croydon Swimming Pool. This is an opportunity to contribute to the health, wellbeing and recreation of our community while helping provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for pool users.
The Position
As Swimming Pool Attendant, you will support the daily operation of the Croydon Swimming Pool, including:

Supervising patrons and maintaining a safe pool environment

Cleaning and maintaining the pool and surrounding facilities
-
Completing administration, record keeping and reporting
-
Providing excellent customer service and promoting community participation
-
Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met.
Skills & Experience Required
The successful applicant will have:
-
Current or ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
-
Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card
-
Pool Lifeguard Certificate
-
Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Sound literacy and numeracy skills
-
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
-
A strong commitment to safety, accurate record keeping and high service standards
Pool Plant Operations and Maintenance qualifications will be highly regarded.
