Infrastructure Supervisor

Croydon Shire Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Infrastructure Supervisor to lead the day-to-day management of Council's buildings, facilities, staff housing, plant and vehicle fleet. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge, organisational skills and a practical approach to asset management. You'll play a key role in maintaining essential infrastructure and supporting projects that deliver lasting benefits for the Croydon community. Reporting within the Infrastructure team, the Infrastructure Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the maintenance and management of Council's buildings, facilities, staff housing, heavy plant and vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance of Council buildings, facilities and staff housing
• Manage Council's plant and vehicle fleet maintenance programs
• Oversee contractors and maintenance schedules
• Support the delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects
• Maintain asset records, budgets and operational reporting

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Relevant trade, engineering or technical qualification, or substantial equivalent experience
• Supervisory and team leadership experience
• Strong project delivery and contractor management skills
• Financial and budgeting capability
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Knowledge of relevant legislation including WHS and Local Government requirements
• Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence

 Croydon Shire Council offers a competitive remuneration package recognising the unique benefits of working and living in remote Queensland. The total remuneration package is valued at approximately $103,000–$112,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) and includes:

• Base salary from approximately $85,000–$92,000 per annum
