Croydon Shire Council is seeking an organised and proactive Corporate Services Support Officer to join our Corporate Services team. This is a diverse role supporting the people, systems and processes that enable Council to deliver essential services to the community. The Position

The Corporate Services Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the efficient operation of Council's Corporate Services department. Working across human resources, governance, administration and corporate services, you will coordinate recruitment and onboarding, support employee training and development, maintain accurate employee records and provide high-quality administrative support across a broad range of business functions.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities

• Maintain employee records and corporate documentation
• Assist with governance, compliance and administration
• Provide professional support across Corporate Services

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in human resources, administration or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
• Ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Knowledge of employment legislation and corporate administration processes is desirable

What We Offer

Croydon Shire Council offers a total remuneration package valued at approximately $104,000 per annum, including:

• Base salary of approximately $86,000 per annum
• Locality allowance of up to $6,700 per annum
• 12% superannuation
• Five weeks annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading

• Full-time position with a 9-day fortnight
