Casual Cleaner
Croydon Shire Council is seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Cleaner to help maintain community buildings and public facilities across the shire. The Position
The Casual Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across Council facilities, community buildings and public spaces. The role involves a variety of cleaning duties including sanitising amenities, rubbish removal, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and restocking supplies. You will help ensure facilities remain safe, clean and welcoming for residents, visitors and community groups while reporting any maintenance or safety issues as they arise. This position is suited to someone who is dependable, self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean community buildings and public facilities
• Maintain safe, tidy and welcoming shared spaces
• Restock amenities and cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance and safety concerns

Skills & Experience Required
• Experience in cleaning or facility maintenance (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
