Croydon Shire Council is seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join the team at Croydon Child Care Centre. This is a rewarding opportunity to support early childhood development while enjoying the unique lifestyle and strong sense of community that regional Queensland offers.

The Position

The Educator plays an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

Working closely with the Centre Director and team, you will support the delivery of high-quality care and education programs aligned with the National Quality Framework, while building genuine relationships with children, families and the wider community.

This role is suited to someone who values connection, collaboration and making a meaningful difference in children’s lives every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of early childhood education and care programs
  • Create safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments
  • Build positive relationships with children and families
  • Assist with program planning, documentation and daily operations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Skills & Experience Required

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Understanding of the National Quality Standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to supporting children’s development and wellbeing

This full-time role offers a competitive remuneration package valued up to $84,000 per annum, including:
