Croydon Shire Council is seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join the Croydon Child Care Centre — a fully accredited service supporting children from Birth to Year 6. This is an opportunity to contribute to a small service where your work directly supports children’s learning, wellbeing and development while building meaningful connections with families and the community.
The Position
The Early Childhood Educator supports the delivery of safe, engaging and high-quality early learning experiences for children attending the Croydon Child Care Centre. Working alongside the Childcare Coordinator and the wider team, you will contribute to daily operations, support children’s development and ensure the centre meets licensing requirements and National Quality Framework standards.
This role suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values relationships with families and is committed to creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to learn.

Support the delivery of daily learning and care programs

Assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment

Follow centre policies and National Quality Framework requirements

Contribute to documentation, program planning and observations
Skills & Experience Required

Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Valid Blue Card (Working with Children)

Understanding of National Quality Standards

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to support children’s development in a safe and nurturing environment
