Croydon Shire Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our Infrastructure team and play an important role in maintaining, restoring and improving Council buildings and community infrastructure.  As a qualified Carpenter, you'll undertake a diverse range of carpentry, building maintenance and repair projects across the Shire. You'll work independently while contributing to work planning and budgeting, help preserve Croydon's heritage assets and support the development of trainees within the team. Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Relevant Carpenter trade qualification with proven post-apprenticeship experience
• Experience in building maintenance and repairs
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer

The total package is valued at up to $114,000 per annum and includes:

• Base salary from $95,000 per annum, above award and subject to experience
• Locality allowance of up to $6,700 per annum
