Flood Recovery Grants Open

Eligible primary producers impacted by the North Queensland Monsoon Trough and flooding from 24 December 2025 can now apply for disaster recovery grants of up to $75,000 to assist with clean-up and reinstatement costs.
Activated local government areas include Croydon Shire Council, along with Carpentaria, Cloncurry, Flinders, McKinlay, Richmond and Winton. Grants can be used for clean-up, disposal of damaged goods or livestock, fencing, building repairs, equipment, materials and additional labour.

Concessional recovery loans also available
• Disaster Assistance Loans up to $250,000
• Essential Working Capital Loans up to $100,000
Interest rate: 2.14% fixed (up to 10 years)
Loan applications close 31 December 2027.
