Croydon Shire Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Depot Manager to help deliver vital infrastructure and services that support the growth and functionality of our region. Working closely with the Director Infrastructure, this full-time position plays a key role in overseeing council projects and services across roads, fleet, workshop, parks, airport, water and waste. You will assist in managing the Infrastructure Services Department in accordance with statutory requirements, ensuring key projects are delivered on time and within budget.
This position is ideal for a capable project manager or infrastructure professional looking to make a real impact in a regional setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Support planning and delivery of local and state road upgrades

Coordinate project timelines, budgets and reporting for council infrastructure

Oversee general operation of council services including water, waste, airport, fleet and workshop

Contribute to strategy development and infrastructure planning

Assist with compliance reporting and internal systems

Liaise with contractors, stakeholders and the community to deliver outcomes
Skills & Experience Required:
-
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in infrastructure or civil works
-
2-3 years’ experience in a similar local government role
-
Strong background in road construction/maintenance and associated compliance
-
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects
-
Experience in policy development, planning, and systems improvement
-
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
