Croydon Shire Council is pleased to advise that the proposed Croydon Shire Planning Scheme is now on public display and stakeholders are encouraged to review the document.
The purpose of the proposed Croydon Shire Planning Scheme is to shape future development outcomes within Croydon Shire over the next 10-20 years.
The proposed Planning Scheme can be viewed online at www.croydon.qld.gov.au or in person at Council chambers. Interested parties may also purchase the document in addition to inspection.
Any person may make a written submission about any aspect of the proposed planning scheme during the public consultation period. The public consultation period is from:
Thursday, 24 May 2018 up to and including Wednesday, 18 July 2018
Submissions must be in writing or by email. Properly made submissions must state the name and residential or business address of each submitter; the grounds of the submission; and the facts and circumstances relied on in support of the grounds. Written submissions must be signed by each person making the submission; however signatures are not required for online and email (electronic) submissions. Each submission must supply one postal or electronic address for further correspondence regarding the submission.
Submissions must be received by Council on or before the 18 July 2018. Submissions can be lodged as follows:
Council will be undertaking public 'talk to a planner' session in the Croydon Library between 9am to 3pm Friday 22 June and 9am to 12pm Saturday 23 June to help with the community's understanding of the proposed planning scheme.
