Water Treatment Plant Operator and Qualified Plumber

Croydon Shire Council is seeking applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic and team orientated persons to provide effective services in the treatment of water by efficient operation and maintenance of the Croydon Water Treatment Plant including pumping station and associated infrastructure, whilst providing leadership and mentoring for additional plant operator/s. The successful applicant will be required to manage and maintain Croydon Shire Council's plumbing systems as well as providing  leadership and hands-on management to a diversity of staff conducting duties relating to urban infrastructure operation and maintenance activities to ensure the provision of safe reliable and sustainable infrastructure and facilities.

Workshop Supervisor

Croydon Shire Council is seeking applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic and team orientated persons to provide an effective and efficient mechanical service to ensure all Council fixed and mobile plant, equipment and vehicle fleet is maintained in  a safe, cost  effective and operational manner. The Workshop Supervisor will assist the Works Manager to develop and maintain an efficient and cost effective plant replacement program and be able to proficiently manage workshop staff and budgets.

Tourism Officer
